On June 11, 2025, 19 members enjoyed a highly engaging walking tour of Vancouver’s Chinatown. The weather was perfect for the tour of Chinatown with it’s unique cultural landscape of architecture, food, and ceremony. With our guide John Atkin, we explored the history of the area, its fascinating southern Chinese-inspired society buildings, along with a look at the evolving retail scene of traditional shops and a few new comers. Following the tour we all enjoyed a delicious lunch of Chinese food at the Jade Dynasty restaurant. Thanks to Past President Terry McLeod for providing the photos.
